Korean peole don't like number 4. korean charaters were influenced by chinese characters. Let's look at one of the Chinese characters. that is '死', the words for '死' is called '사(sa)'. that words means 'dead' . korean number '4' pronunciation and '死' is same so, they don't use the number on the floor.
